Jacquard Marbling Kit

The Jacquard Marbling Kit is easy to use and great for making unique book covers, greeting cards, wrapping paper, patterned fabric and more! This updated marbling kit uses carrageenan instead of methocel, for creating finer lines and higher performance colors. The floating action of each color is optimized for all marbling techniques and synthetic gall is included for creating special effects and exercising greater control. This kit is designed for professionals, but easy enough for beginners. This package contains six Marbling Colors (.5oz/14ml each: yellow, red, violet, blue, white and black), .5fl oz/14ml Synthetic Gall, 4oz/113g Alum (mordant), 1oz/28g Carrageenan and complete instructions. Recommended for ages 8 and up. Conforms to ASTM D 4236. Made in USA.

Use Jacquard's Marbling Kit to make beautiful patterned fabric or gift wrapping paper as unique as you are. Historically, the art of marbling paper has been associated with the craft of bookbinding. This technique involves creating a multi-colored pattern of paint that floats on the surface of a gel-like medium. Once you have mixed the paint and medium, you can lay your paper or fabric on the surface of the liquid to pick up the floating paint and transfer the design. This kit is designed to be used and enjoyed by professionals and beginners alike. The kit contains six 1/2-oz bottles of marbling colors (black, blue, green, red, yellow, and white). Also includes methocel marbling medium, alum sizing, and complete instructions. (Note: paper and fabric are not included in this kit.) For ages 12 and up.
